Agreement to these terms
These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of The Private Method website and any coaching, membership, digital programme, community or related service supplied by us.
By accessing this website, submitting a form, creating an account, purchasing a service or participating in a TPM programme, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree with these terms, you should not purchase, access or use our services.
Insert the exact legal/business entity that contracts with the customer if it is different from “The Private Method”.
Eligibility & account information
You must be at least 18 years old to purchase or use paid TPM coaching services unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing and all legally required parental or guardian permissions are in place.
You are responsible for ensuring that information you provide to us is accurate, complete and kept up to date.
Where access credentials are supplied, they are for your personal use. You must take reasonable steps to keep your login details secure and must not knowingly allow another person to use your account.
Our coaching & programme services
TPM provides coaching, education, accountability, training guidance, nutrition guidance, mindset support, programme materials and related services according to the package or programme you purchase.
The exact inclusions, frequency of calls, community access, programme duration and level of direct support may vary by offer. The description shown at the point of purchase forms part of your agreement with us.
Coaching is collaborative. You remain responsible for your own choices, implementation, attendance, communication and participation.
Health, fitness & medical disclaimer
TPM is a coaching and educational service. Nothing on this website, inside a programme, in a coaching call or in member communications should be treated as medical diagnosis, medical treatment or a substitute for advice from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.
Before starting or materially changing a training or nutrition programme, you should seek appropriate professional advice where necessary, particularly if you have a medical condition, are taking medication, are pregnant, are recovering from injury or have any reason to believe exercise or dietary change may create a health risk.
You are responsible for telling us about relevant limitations, injuries or circumstances that may affect your participation.
Results are not guaranteed
Individual results vary. Progress can be affected by factors including starting point, consistency, health status, training history, nutrition, sleep, lifestyle, stress, participation and adherence.
Testimonials, case studies, before-and-after images and examples are provided to illustrate individual experiences. They do not represent a promise that every member will achieve the same result.
Payments & subscriptions
Prices are shown at checkout or on the relevant offer page. By purchasing a paid TPM service, you authorise the applicable payment provider to charge the payment method you provide.
Recurring memberships
Where you purchase a recurring monthly membership, your subscription will renew and the applicable fee will be charged on each billing date until the subscription is cancelled in accordance with the cancellation terms that apply to your plan.
You are responsible for maintaining a valid payment method. If a payment fails, access to paid services may be paused or restricted while the outstanding payment remains unresolved.
Before publishing, make sure this matches the exact £97 Group Coaching and £297 1-to-1 billing/cancellation rules shown at checkout.
Cancellations, refunds & cooling-off rights
Cancellation and refund rights depend on the service purchased, when the service begins, whether digital content or coaching has already been supplied, and any mandatory consumer rights that apply to your purchase.
Any offer-specific cancellation or refund terms displayed at checkout or agreed in writing form part of these Terms & Conditions.
Nothing in these terms is intended to remove any statutory consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
IMPORTANT: Insert TPM’s exact approved cancellation/refund policy here. Do not publish a “no refunds” clause unless it has been checked against the applicable UK consumer rules and the way TPM delivers the service.
Programme & community access
Access to paid coaching, programme materials, applications, member areas, WhatsApp groups, calls or other community spaces is personal to the member unless we expressly agree otherwise.
You must not sell, copy, publish, share, distribute, reproduce or give another person access to paid TPM materials, recordings, programme documents or member-only resources without written permission.
Access may end when your programme, subscription or agreed access period ends.
Member conduct & community standards
TPM communities and coaching spaces are intended to be constructive, respectful and confidential environments.
You agree not to:
- harass, threaten or abuse another member, coach or team member;
- post unlawful, discriminatory or deliberately harmful material;
- share another member’s private information without permission;
- spam, solicit or promote unrelated products or services without approval;
- interfere with calls, systems, member areas or other TPM services.
Serious or repeated breaches may result in removal from a community or programme, subject to applicable contractual and consumer rights.
Intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, TPM branding, programme structures, written materials, videos, worksheets, training resources, graphics, website content and other original materials are owned by or licensed to The Private Method and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Purchasing access gives you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the materials for your own participation in the service. It does not transfer ownership or give you permission to reproduce, resell, teach, licence or commercially exploit the materials.
Third-party services & links
TPM may use third-party platforms for payments, communications, scheduling, video calls, programme delivery, member communities or other operational purposes.
Third-party services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the independent acts, systems or policies of third parties except to the extent required by law.
Availability, coaches & programme changes
We aim to deliver services as described, but reasonable changes may sometimes be required due to illness, holidays, technology issues, scheduling, safety, platform changes or other operational reasons.
We may make reasonable changes to programme delivery, session dates, digital platforms, resources or administrative processes where this does not materially reduce the service purchased.
Where a significant change affects a paid service, we will communicate the relevant information to affected members.
Responsibility & limitation of liability
You remain responsible for your own decisions, actions, exercise technique, dietary choices and implementation of coaching guidance.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed or for losses caused by matters outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer law.
This limitation clause should be reviewed with the rest of the legal wording before publication.
Suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary because of serious misconduct, misuse of TPM materials or systems, unlawful activity, persistent non-payment or a material breach of these terms.
Any suspension or termination will remain subject to your applicable statutory and contractual rights.
Governing law & changes to these terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to our services, business operations, legal requirements or technology.
The date at the top of this page shows when these terms were last updated.
These terms should specify the governing law and courts that apply to the contracting business, while preserving any mandatory consumer protections that apply to the customer.
Add the exact governing-law / jurisdiction clause once the legal entity and business location are confirmed.
